Meet the team

Hayley Turner

Owner & Head Stylist

Trained in Canine First Aid & Emmi Pet Canine Teeth Cleaning System

Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Nana, Employer

Owner of 3 WCS (Working cocker spaniels) & 1 Labrador

I’ve been grooming professionally since 2013 after I studied to Advanced level at Hartpury College, leaving behind many years of working in administration and management.

What started off as a hobby to look after our own team of working dogs, soon became a thriving business.

My focus has always been listening to my customers and advising where necessary, whilst creating styles that are manageable at home in between grooms. Throughout the grooming process at Red Head, the dog’s well-being is aways the main objective

I have built up a loyal customer base who have stayed with me since the start.

When I’m not grooming you can find me in the beating line at our local shoot working Tinkerbell my spaniel, pottering in my veg patch, socialising in our wonderful Cotswold pubs or fishing off the Devon coast.

Amber Moore

Assistant Manager/ Stylist

Owner of 2 whippets – Alfie & Belle

I’m a local girl, after studying hairdressing at Stroud college, decided to prefer to work with animals (well who wouldn’t).

I worked 5 seasons in a polo yard where I spent my summers, and 4 seasons in a hunting yard during winter. After this I thought I would like to change my career to become a dog groomer. I studied at Golden Paws Grooming Academy, where I gained my ICMG UK qualification in 2017. I joined Hayley’s team in December 2017, its hard work but good fun!

In my spare time you will find me up the yard with my 2 whippets Alfie and Belle and my horses.

Aif Lidstone

Trainee Stylist/Bather

I started my training to be a dog groomer part time in 2020.

I have always had a passion for dogs especially gun dog breeds, I own cocker spaniels and work them on local shoots in my spare time.

I am a horse groom, dog walker and mum to a daughter.

My hobbies are keeping fit, horse riding and socialising when time allows.

Caitlin Lawson

Stylist

Living on a farm, spending all my free time outdoors in the countryside around animals it became obvious to me that my love of dogs was an ideal career choice for me.

Gaining a job at a dog boarding/day care facility I decided to further my career by training to be a dog groomer, this allows me to have the best of both worlds working part time at the kennels and part time as a dog groomer.

Living my best life getting to know our lovely customers and they’re humans.
